Music is well known to be therapeutic, connecting, uplifting, and FUN!
Cici Hunt brings her enthusiasm, talents, and energies to engage the ‘young at heart’ in song and story. Audiences find themselves singing along, tapping their feet, moving their arms, and filling the room with smiles, laughter and joy.
Cici plays the piano and sings in her ‘Broadway’ voice the songs the residents remember and love. Optimism, joy, and connections to one another are the results of the time spent making music together.
In one of her recent performances, a 90 year old limited by Alzheimer’s disease stood up and broke into a solo rendition of “You’re a Grand Old Flag.” At the end of his performance he exclaimed, “Where did THAT come from?” Cici replied, “From your heart! ”
